All our pitches are double hard standing, all weather pitches, suitable for awnings. Fully serviced with electric, water and grey waste hook-up, we offer three different size pitches.

Smaller caravans / motor homes can choose any size pitch, but if you have a twin axle type caravan you need to book a 11m pitch.  Medium size units can choose either 10m or 11m pitches.

Our Pitch Fee - includes 2 adults, free showers, hot water, awning, hard standing, water hook-up, grey waste hook-up, electric hook-up to each pitch (guests to supply their own equipment).

	9m Fully Serviced pitches. These pitches are fully serviced with Electric, Water and Grey Waste Hook-Up and are suitable for smaller caravans, motor homes and camper vans, if using small awnings – not full awnings. 	10m– Fully Serviced Value pitches, Units up to 7.18m / 23ft.  South facing awning. These are fully serviced pitches ideal for small to medium size units using smaller or porch awnings.  (These pitches can take larger units if not using an awning, but not twin axles or large motor homes.) 	10m – Fully Serviced pitches, Units up to 7.18m / 23ft.  These are fully serviced pitches ideal for medium size units with full awnings. Not suitable for twin axle caravans or large motor homes. Check dates, availability and prices click here
	11m – Fully Serviced pitches, Units up to 8.5m / 27ft. These pitches are Fully Serviced, suitable for small, medium and large units with full awnings, including twin axle caravans and tag axle motor homes. Shower and toilet facilities - Men's: 4 showers, 6 wash basins, 2 shaver points and 1 hairdryer. Ladies: 3 large showers, 6 wash basins, and 1 hairdryer.

Laundry - spin dryer, 2 large washing machines, 2 large tumble dryers, iron and ironing board, sink - drainer for hand washing.

ACCESS STATEMENT

Moor View is a touring park and we welcome adult visitors (over the age of 18) with their own caravans, motor homes and tents.

General Description:

Moor View Touring Park is an adult only site and is therefore suitable for relaxing in peaceful surroundings. The site is easily accessible from the A38 Devon Expressway.  The road from the A38 is a ‘B Road’ with some narrow stretches; we use this road along with Broad Park - Caravan Club Site and California Cross – Camping & Caravanning Club Site.

General Safety Information:

We take the safety of our customers very seriously and therefore there is a 5 mph speed limit throughout the site.  On booking in, each guest is provided with a ‘useful information sheet’ and a park layout plan, with emergency contact details and grid reference. The park has good coverage on most mobile networks and TV reception is generally good.

Roadways:

The roadways around the park are topped with 20mm clean local stone they are generally well compacted but some areas may be more loose than others.  Guests who have used mobility scooters have not reported that they have posed any difficulties.  There is a gentle slope up the park from the reception and facilities building.

Park Lighting:

At night the area around reception and the toilet block is well lit and low level general lighting is provided around the rest of the park, but is kept to a minimum to minimize light pollution.

Pitch Information:

• The pitches on the main park are serviced pitches to include facilities for water hook-up, grey waste hook-up, electric hook-up and double hard standings for caravan / motorhome and awning.  We offer three different size pitches 9m, 10m and 11m.  All of the pitches have parking on the pitch for your convenience.

• We have two grass pitches both of these have electric hook-up.

• The camping field does not have hook-up facilities; it is an open slightly sloping grass field.

If you would prefer a pitch close to the toilets and showers please let us know when booking and we will do our best to meet your request.

Toilets and Showers:

We have separate gents and ladies heated toilets and showers that are open 24hrs a day.  To enter the facilities there is a door that opens inwards with a step over the door frame of about 60mm.  The floor is level once inside the toilets and showers, however there is a step into each show cubicle of about 150mm.  There are grab rails for stepping into the showers.  Each shower cubicle has a plastic chair in the ‘dry area’.

The ladies showers are next to the ladies toilets and there is a large shower cubicle in this facility that is large enough to allow a companion assistant if necessary.
Reception and Small Shop:

We have a small shop on site that sells milk, eggs, and meat.  There is a Spar Mini-Supermarket 800 meters which is part of a BP Fuel Station to the east of the park open 6.00am – 9.00pm in the winter and 10.00pm in the main season.

Dogs:

Dogs and Assistance Dogs are welcome on the park and there is a designated dog walking area at the bottom of the park.

Access to the Local Area:

• Taxi - There are a number of local taxi companies for which we can provide details.
• Buses - There is a regular bus service in Modbury 2 ½ miles to the west, which connects to other local further bus services covering the South Hams and into Plymouth.
• Railway – The nearest railway station is Ivybridge about 15 minutes away, there are also railway stations at Totnes (20 minutes) and Plymouth (35 minutes).
